да чё в лс - обсуждаем
запретить конкретно gif анимацию впринцыпе нельзя, можно заблокировать все gif

Печально... GIFки я видеть хочу - только шоб не дёргались...

Using about:config
(ALT+C)
In Mozilla Suite and Firefox:

1. In the Location Bar type about:config and hit Enter
2. Type "anim" in the Filter field (to quickly find the needed preference)
3. Double-click the image.animation_mode line and edit it to one of the following:

none — will prevent image animation
once — will let the image animate once
normal (default) — will allow it to play over and over

Want to know how to turn off that annoying “session restore” window that you get when Firefox tries to start back up from a crash? Ok, maybe annoying is a little harsh. A lot of people like the window, and a lot of people don’t like it. Who am I to judge?

If you find yourself in the camp with the annoyed folks, this is what you do:

1. type about:config in your browser URL
2. go to the browser.sessionstore.enabled setting
3. change the setting to false

хм... наверное для разных ос разные настройки мазилы. у меня был параметр accessibility.accesskeycausesactivation дал ему false. И он перестал показыватся

Совсем недавно возникла проблема: не загружаются флешки с сайтов, был переустановлен Macromedia.Flash.Player.9.0.16.0, но и это не решило проблему.
Возможно кто-нибудь сталкивался с такой проблемой, как ее можно исправить?

проблема решена
как оказалось она возникла из-за HandyCache, подкорректировав настройки все стало грузиться
